Marron Gebremeskel

Marron Gebremeskel is a Texas-born immigration attorney who brings both personal understanding and unmatched professional experience to every case.

Marron was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and her Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law.

For more than a decade, Marron has owned and operated her immigration law practice, the Law Office of Marron Gebremeskel, PLLC, where she advocates for immigrants navigating the U.S. immigration system. She also served as an adjunct professor teaching Immigration Law at Midland College.

Before founding her practice, Marron served as an Asylum Officer and Immigration Services Officer for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Department of Homeland Security, in Houston, Texas, and as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Fort Worth Regional Office.

Marron is also a published poet with two books available now: Cactus Fruit, A Book of Poems and I Accept Everything God Brings My Way.

Marron is an active member of the Texas State Bar and the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas, the Southern District of Florida, and the Western District of Oklahoma. She speaks English and Tigrinya and is moderate in Spanish.

Outside the practice, Marron is a wife and mother to four children.
