MARRON GEBREMESKEL, Attorney at Law

Experience and Bar/Court Admissions

Marron Gebremeskel was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. She is the daughter of Eritrean refugees who immigrated to the U.S. before she was born. Marron attended the University of Miami for her Bachelor’s degree and Florida State University, College of Law for her Juris Doctorate degree.

For more than a decade, Marron has owned and operated her immigration law practice, Law Office of Marron Gebremeskel, PLLC, where she advocates for immigrants and consults immigration attorneys all over the nation. She is also an adjunct professor teaching Immigration law at Midland College.

Marron has served as an Asylum Officer and as an Immigration Services Officer for the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Homeland Security in Houston, Texas. She recently served as a Trial Attorney for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Fort Worth Regional Office.

Marron is a poet and the published author of her debut collection of poems, Cactus Fruit. She is the founder of the Balanced Mom’s Club, LLC where she writes books and serves as a public speaker in order to help female immigrants and the children of immigrants expose their truth through authenticity.

Marron is an active member of the Texas State Bar and a non-active member of the Florida State Bar. She is admitted in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

She speaks Tigrinya and moderate Spanish. Marron is a wife and mother to three amazing children and has one on the way, her greatest accomplishments.
